Your Local Marriage and Family Therapist - Here to Guide You
We are not fully healed
Nor fully wised
Still searching for our path,
But what truly counts
Is that we're growing each day

About Therapy
The American Psychological Association reminds us that “psychologists, therapists, and counselors help people of all ages live happier, healthier, and more productive lives." In that same spirit, my goal is to support you in creating meaningful change through collective healing, self-awareness, and practical tools for growth. Together, we'll explore ways to align your values with the life you want to live - one rooted in authenticity, balance, and transformation.

As an AAPI Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I'm here to walk alongside you and practice collective healing to help you reconnect with your strengths and inner wisdom.
Since 2020, I've moved my practice to telehealth sessions. This approach has made therapy more accessible and flexible for many, though it may not be the best option for everyone.

I am a first-generation Lao-American. I was born in Nakhon Phanom, a province in northeastern Thailand. My parents, both refugees, immigrated to the United States when I was four years old - my mother from an ethnic tribe known as Phu Thai, and my father is Lao from Khonxedone, Laos. Growing up as the child of refugees shaped my understanding of resilience, identity, and belonging. I carry deep pride in my cultural roots and speak both Lao and Thai.
My personal journey has profoundly influenced my work as a therapist. I believe that healing is a collective process, and it begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood within the context of one's lived experiences. This perspective guides my humanistic approach, creating a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their stories, embrace their strengths, and move toward growth and self-discovery.
I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. I have received certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and evidence-based models for treating depression, anxiety, and behavioral problems. I have certification as an ADHD-CCSP Clinical Service Provider. I've completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and am a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, working with couples to identify the dynamics and complexities of their relationships.

I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
